MCH Calcium It is the supplement for dogs and cats that acts as a bone substitute in the natural diet.
Contains calcium, other minerals, protein, collagen, glycosaminoglycan, and trace elements, all important for bone health in dogs and cats. Made from
Made from New Zealand grass-fed cow bones (BSE-free*). Premium quality, freeze-dried to retain all nutrients.
Raw bones are an essential element of a BARF diet, however, not all dogs and cats can or will eat them. MCH Calcium (Microcrystal Bone Hydroxyapatite) provides a preparation not only of calcium, easily absorbed and in the right amounts, but also of all the other ingredients beneficial to bone health, such as protein, collagen, glycosaminoglycan, and trace elements.
Unlike bone meal, This product is obtained from the cooling of raw, untreated cow bones. Through this delicate process, the active ingredients are not destroyed. Bone meal and crushed bone are typically prepared using steam and heating, so nutrients can be lost. MCH Calcium is regularly tested for the presence of heavy metals such as lead. These tests are not usually performed on bone meal.
Another advantage of this product is its microcrystal structure, which provides maximum availability for absorption by the body.
One level teaspoon (2.5g) of MCH Calcium contains 575mg of Calcium and 225mg of Phosphorus (a ratio of 2.6).
Important: Dietary supplements are not suitable for treating diseases on their own, but at most, they can influence proper treatment, which should be the sole responsibility of your veterinarian.
