How does this supplement work?
When moistened, the shell powder swells and increases its initial volume. The mucilaginous polysaccharides present in the seed shell are responsible for the increase in volume after binding with water. These mucilages naturally increase the volume of digested food, thus helping to create a feeling of fullness. This also increases stool volume, which will help with recurring anal gland problems.Important : Dogs taking medication should be cautious with this supplement as psyllium husk forms a jelly that coats the stomach and intestines and may interfere with medication absorption.

Ingredients : Psyllium husk powder (100%)
Recommended amounts : the product comes with a measuring spoon that holds approximately 3.3g.
Cats and dogs weighing approximately 5 kg - 0.5 g per day (the tip of a knife)
Small dogs of approximately 10kg - 1g per day (one-third of a measuring spoon)
Medium dogs weighing approximately 25kg - 1 to 2.5g daily (one-third to three-quarters of a scoop)
Large dogs weighing approximately 50kg - 2 to 5g daily (up to 1.5 scoops)
We should always mix it with water (1:10 ratio) and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes.
